i have completed b.tech in AICTE approved not UGC approved college. Can i apply for goverment job?

Yes, why you not you can apply for any government job after completing Bachelor of technology.

AICTE stands for All India Council for Technical Education. It gives affiliations and recognition to engineering colleges for technical education. UGC stands for the University Grants Commission.

It is responsible for granting affiliations to universities. So it does not matter whether your college is approved by UGC or not. Since it is approved by AICTE, the degree is valid you can apply for various government jobs like:

1. UPSC exams.

>>Engineering Services exam.

2. Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level exam.
