Sir now i am in B.com 3rd year and in 11th i was in science (PCM) and in 12th i was shifted to commerce so when my graduation gets complete , can i apply for MCA entrance ? please reply because i have found on many sites that 10+2 with mathematics subject is compulsory in pune university . so what to do ?

Eligibility for MCA :
1. For mca you must either complete bba, bca, b.tech and also science or computer graduation courses
2. There is no age limit for mca
3. You must have studied science subjects in 10+2
4. You must appear for a common entrance exam for mca
5. You must have minimum 60% marks in graduation for mca

Sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for the MCA entrance exam. Only those students who have completed their graduation with the BCA/BSc. IT with more than 50% marks are eligible to apply for the MCA entrance exam. As you are from the commerce (B.Com) background then I will suggest you to be continue in same stream because what you will learn in that stream you will not get the more benefit from the other streams. I will say that either you should do the M.Com/MBA or the CA after your B.Com course. As we all know that any organization that is small or big need finance department so this will bring more job option so that you can get the best job in the commerce sector.

No, You are not eligible to get admission in MCA after completing B.Com.

Master in Computer Application(MCA) is a post graduation curse in computer application.

To do MCA you have to do either BBA or B.Tech degree then only you can be eligible for MCA.

But you are eligible for MBA(Master in Business Admisintration) or M.Com as you are eligible for both but not MCA.

Yes why not you can apply for the entrance exam conducted for the MCA if you are in B.com 3rd year.
The minimum educational qualification needed for the admission in MCA college or to seat in the entrance exam is graduation from any recognised university of India.
