Can I apply for NET exam in PG degree Geography after passing BSc Mathematics and MSc geography
I have passed b.sc mathematics and m.sc geography.can i apply for net exam in my pg degree geography?
Are there any hurdles in lecturership with cross major? Clear my doubts |

Since you completed your master's degree, therefore, now you are eligible to sit for the NET exam.
NET Eligibility Criteria:- For giving UGC NET u need to have a master Degree with minimum 55% of marks. You can choose any subject from your master degree.UGC NET consists of three papers >General studies >Your optional paper-objective questions >Your optional paper-subjective questions Age limit:- For junior research fellowship :- the maximum age should be 28 years. NET(National Eligibility Test) exam is conducted by the UGC twice in a year. Eligibility criteria for Junior Research Fellowship: Candidate should be complete master's degree with atleast 55% of marks from any recognised university. Final year candidates alms eligible. Citizen of india is must. Age limits is 19years to 28years. Eligibility criteria for Lecturship: Candidate should be complete master's degree from any recognised university with atleast 55% of marks. Final year candidates also eligible,. Candidate should be a citizen of india. There is no maximum age limits and minimum age limit is 19years.
