Hey,I belongs to Haryana.Can I apply for RAS? Is there any reservation for Rajsthan Candidates?And if yes,then how much???

RAS-Rajasthan Administrative Service.

RAS exam conducted by the Rajasthan State Government.

Eligibility Criteria:-

Candidate should be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university.

Final year appearing candidates are also eligible.

No need of percentage restrictions to appear this exam.

You must be a citizen of India.

Age criteria and details:-

The age limits for General category candidates are 21 to 30 years,

For OBC category candidates are 21 to 33years,

For SC/ST category candidates are 21 to 35 years.


Selection steps:-

-->Preliminary examination,

-->Mains examination,

-->Personal interview.

The Full Form of RAS is Rajasthan Administrative Services. The Rajasthan Government as similar to the UPSC conducts the RAS Exam every year.

The RAS Exam is conducted for the recruitment of Class-I officers in the state of Rajasthan.

The Qualifications Required for RAS Exam are :

* you must have completed graduation in any stream from any recognized college/university.

* There is no any specific percentage requirement for this exam.

* Candidates in final year of graduation can also apply if interested.

* The candidate must be an Indian.

* The candidate`s age must lie in between 21-30 years considering him/her from General Category.

Age Relaxation :

* 3 years upper age relaxation is given to OBC Candidates.

* 5 years upper age relaxation is given to SC/ST Candidates.

* 10 years upper age relaxation is given to Ex-Servicemen.

Reservation Of Seats :

As far as i am concerned , 40% seats are reserved for the candidates who belong to Rajasthan.

Moreover , the Exam is conducted in three phases :

1) Preliminary Examination

2) MAINS Examination

3) Interview Test
