Can I apply for SBI Associates clerk post if I was born in 1981?


sir candidate born on first april 1981 can apply sbi associates clerks post or not .please tell me

Yes of course , you are eligible to apply for SBI Associates Clerks examination and this examination notification was already out and it is available in the official website of SBI and Last date for receipt of application on 13/08/12 .

Eligibility Criteria for SBI Associate ::

The Applicant must have a completed minimum qualification of 12th Standard examination from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and the applicant must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in their examination ( 55% aggregate marks for SC/ST/PD/XS candidates ) .

Even those who have a completed their degree course may also eligible to apply and no minimum marks required for graduate candidates but final year candidates are not eligible to apply for this examination .

To apply for this examination , the applicant should have a minimum 18 years and maximum 28 year and Upper age limits is applicable . Three year for OBC candidates and Five year for SC/ST candidates .

Coming to your question ::

According to the SBI Associate notification , the applicant born not earlier than 02/08/1984 and not later than 01/08/1994 . So you are eligible to apply for SBI Associate examination .

  • Date of Online Registration Starts From :: 30.07.12
  • Last date for receipting the online application :: 13.08.12
  • Date of Written Examination :: 07.10.12 To 14.10.12

sir .....i was born in mar/1983...i ahve applied sbi clerk and i have passed....bt i have state govt bc certificate which is not in obc list..is it possible for me to attend the interview?....
i have finished MCA...is there any age relaxation for pg students....

To apply for the post of clerk of SBI associate banks the candidate must have the minimum age of 18 years and maximum of 28 years...but there is a age relaxation of 3 years for obc candidates and 5 years for SC/ST/EX-s....
So, according to the above criteria the candidates who born between 1984 and 1994 are eligible to apply for the post....(for sc/st/Ex-s it is 1979-1994 and for obc 1982-1994)
so you are eligible to apply for the above post......

yes you are eligible to apply for SBI Clerks Examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

*The Candidate Should completed minimum qualification in 12th standard from any recognized Universtiy.

*The Candidate must at least 60% marks in their examination.

*For SC/ST Candidates 55% aggregate marks in their examination.

*Graduation Candidates are also eligible for this exam.

*The Candidate should have his age 18 to 28 years.

*3 years relaxation for OBC Candidates

*5 years relaxation for SC/ST Candidates.
