Re: Can I apply for SBI Clerk Exam having scored 50% in Graduation?
Yes. You are eligible to apply for SBI Clerk Exam with a percentage of 50% of marks in Graduation.
Recently, SBI has announced notification for the recruitment of 9500 clerical positions. It is clearly mentioned in the notification that these clerks may also have to do Marketing and have to involve in cross selling of various banking products of SBI. It may be -Savings Accounts -Debit cards -Insurance policies etc. So, my suggestion for you is to crack Bank PO Exams rather than appearing for Clerk Exams. Anyway you have completed Graduation which will make you to be eligible for Bank PO Exams. As a Probationary Officer, you will be involved in Operations work of the bank. In addition, a PO will be paid better salary than a Clerk. The selection procedure for both these positions is by -Written Exam -Interview If you have profound interest to join as Clerk in SBI, you can appear for the same. Here is the required eligibility that a candidate should possess to be eligible for SBI clerk exam. -One should have completed 12th class or Diploma with a minimum of 60% of marks. -Candidates who have completed Graduation are also eligible for this Exam. As per age criteria, -One should be in the age group of 18-28 years to be eligible for this Exam. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category and upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST category.
