Can I become a lecturer in History after completing BSc Physics


I compleated my Bsc.physics and now doing MA.History from IGNOU through distance education.can i become a lecturer in history in a college in kerala?

No, you are not eligible for lecturer post without completing Master degree. You must qualify in Master degree and UGC NET entrance exam to be eligible for Lecturer post.

National Eligibility Test (NET) is organized entrance exam for lectureship and for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Eligibility Criteria: -

The candidate should have scored at least 55% marks in Master’s Degree OR an equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognized by the UGC and the candidates who have appeared final semester or waiting for result can also eligible.
