Certainly Mechanical engineering is a good option for you. It is important that the candidate have interest in Maths are there are a lot of calculations that one needs to do. A candidate comfortable in Maths should be able to prepare for the Physics paper too. Both the subjects are equally important. You can probably go through any of the past papers or visit any college site to know the syllabus of this stream.

Yes, of course you can. Moreover, it will be best for you if you have great interest in Mathematics. B.Tech in mechanics has vast and safe future in industry. According to my point of view you should definitely go for this.

But for this, you have to clear out the entrance exam of one of the following tests:

1. IITJEE

2. AIEEE

3. CET etc.

Wish you all the very best.

hi friend
Mechanical Engineering degree needs a good background knowledge in mathematics. Since many present day research in this field are based on mathematical modelling of machines and systems, a sound knowledge in maths is essential. So definitely you will be having a good opportunity in this field.

All the Best.

Hai, you are interested in maths. And you are interested to do mechanical engineering. Mechanical engineering contains mostly physics compared to maths.
If you are interested to do mechanical engineering then you must have to know about physics and maths. Most of the subjects contains only physics and analysis purpose only requires maths. If you are good at maths , you can do analysis. If you have capacity to understand concepts . then you can take mechanical.

Mechanical engineering includes mathematic, thermal sciences, meterial science, machanics. So If you have interest in mathematics you can choose mechanical stream but interest only in mathematics is not sufficient for mechanical engineering along with you need to have interest in thermal sciences, automobiles, air conditioning,machinery,engines....
In mechanical engineering we face with mathematics like differential equations,Trigonometry, geometry, vectors, differenti ation and integration.

Hello Dear Aspirant,

If you only interested in Maths not in Physics or chemistry, then take the Computer Science Engineering branch because it includes Mathematics and logical reasoning.

If you interested in Mathematics & Physics. And strong skill in Engineering Mechanics then go for Mechanical engineering. If you only interested in maths then don't go for Mechanical because Mechanical Engineering includes both Mechanics methods to derive we use mathematics if you only know mathematics you can't solve those problems.Think before you take decision.

hai,

Yeah sure if you are interested in Mathematics you can choose Mechanical Engineering Branch. Because you take toward becoming a professional mechanical engineer you required 12th standard with PCM(Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics) to become a mechanical engineer. It is very helpful to you.

Eligibility criteria for Mechanical Engineer:

Candidates passing 12th with with PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) is the first step you take towards becoming a professional mechanical engineer. To be eligible for a graduate programme (BE/BTech) in a college, you should have scored at least 50% marks and 60% for being eligible for IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) in 10+2 with PCM as subjects.

Admission Process:

You can also sit for various entrance Examinaitons such as:

1.The Joint Entrance Examination for IITs (IIT-JEE) for admission to various IITs.

2.All Indian Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) for admission to various Institutes of Technology or Regional Engineering Colleges.

So in these days many engineering colleges are offering a dual (B.E/B.Tech and ME/M.Tech) Programmes. Some of other Insitutions are offering a combination of an engineering degree along with a management Programme.

Career:

The entry into this Mechanical branch of engineering also requires you to possess certain basic traits.you must have a penchant for mechanical components and machinery and how these machines work. Then you must be good at physics, chemistry and mathematics. You must also have skills such as an analytical bent of mind, logical reasoning and problem solving.

**You must have immense patience , Physics strength, ability to work for ling hours and an inventive spirit are essential ingredients for becoming a successful Mechanical Engineer.

So Don't worry about if you are interested mechanical branch then choose and go for higher studies. I wish you all the best........

regards...santhosh...............

Dear aspirant,
If you are interested in mathematics you can take Mechanical engineering. But interest in only in mathematics not needed to study mechanical engineering. As I am a Mechanical engineering student I am suggesting you take Mechanical as your stream if you are interested in mathematics along with basic mechanics, theory of elasticity, manufacturing technology, thermodynamics, automobiles, engines, refr igeration system or atleast any one of them.
ALL THE BEST

Hey there Friend...

Absolutely, needless to say an individual can. What's more, it will likely be right one for you if you suffer from terrific fascination with Mathematics. B.Tech through insides features enormous as well as healthy possible through industry. As reported by my personal outlook you need to most definitely buy this.

Though against this, you will have to expectorate the entrance exam connected with one of the soon after medical tests:

1. IITJEE

2. AIEEE

3. CET etc.

Want all of you stomach muscles will better best.
