Hi, I had completed my Diploma Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2006 and I am presently 33 years old. So, am I eligible to do B.Tech now? Will I also get direct 2nd year admission in B.Tech at this age?

Maximum age limit for Lateral Entry-

21 years to 30 years for general candidates.

21 years to 33 years OBC candidates.

21 years to 35 years for SC / St candidates.

You are eligible to get admission directly in second year year of BTech course after Diploma in Electronics and Communication engineering through lateral entry.
