Can I do diploma course after completion of ITI Electrician course?


Can I do diploma course after completion of ITI Electrician course? What should be the next steps I need to follow for the same? Can you please answer me back soon as possible on this. Awaiting to get the response soon. Thank you!

ITI Electrician course is equivalent to the Diploma course. You can straightaway apply for the jobs on the basis of the same.

However if you want to study further, you can go for that too. But you don't have to pursue another diploma after this course.

Yes you can do diploma after ITI electrical course . Make sure that diploma degree can only be obtained after passing 10th from recognized board with minimum 40% marks.

Yes, you are eligible to do Diploma course after completion of your ITI Electrician course. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or ITI course from a Government recognised institute are eligible to get direct admission in second year of Diploma course. Admissions in second year of Diploma course are done through lateral entry examinations like VOCLET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education. You need to appear and qualify the entrance examination and participate in the counselling process to get admission for pursuing Diploma course.

Yes, it is possible to do Diploma course after completion of your ITI Electrician course. The minimum educational qualification required to pursue Diploma course is completion of 10th standard. Candidates who have done 12th standard with Vocational stream or two years ITI course can get lateral entry admission in second year of Diploma course. So, being an ITI Electrician passed candidate, you are eligible to get admission for pursuing Diploma course.

  • Yes, you are eligible to apply for diploma course after completing ITI (Industrial Training Institute) electrician course.
[*] After having ITI course in electrician trade you can apply for diploma course through lateral entry procedure by which you are directly admitted in second year of diploma course. Here below are details regarding diploma course after ITI course:-
[*] To apply for diploma course minimum qualification required is 10+2 or equivalent qualification from government recognized board/Institute and duration of diploma course after ITI is 2 years.

Yes, you are eligible for the diploma course after completing ITI form your reverent trade. some of the seats in polytechnic course are reserved for the candidate of ITI. These seats are filled up by the entrance exam conducted by organizing PAT exam each and every year. afterward if you wish to study B.Tech after completing the polytechnic then also you are eligible for the same by following the entrance exam.
