Yes, you can apply for electric diploma after completing ITI course by Lateral entry scheme through which three year diploma course is reduced to 2 year for candidate belongs to technical background. Candidate through Lateral entry first year of diploma is eliminated and candidate can continue studied directly from second year.

Syllabus to be Studied in Diploma electrical:- To clear diploma electrical engineering candidate have to go through the major subject like Electrical machines I, Communication and computer networks, Electronics II, Computer aided electrical designs, Electrical power generation, Transmission and distribution, Power electronics, Estimation and specification, Switch-gear and protection, Electrical installation design, Electrical motors, Utilization of electrical energy and management, Industrial drive control etc.

Job Types After Diploma in Electrical Engineering:-

:- Technical trainer.

:- Transformer design engineer.

:- Environmental specialist.

:- Field application engineer.

:- Electrical design engineer.
