hi i am a final year b.sc zoology hons. student. can i do master in archaeology after b.sc? i have a great interest in history and archaeology . please suggest.

the eligibility criteria for master's degree in archeology is as follow.....

-->should have completed M.A. in Ancient/Medieval Indian History or M.A./M.Sc in Archaeology with 55% marks are eligible for the course. (50% for SC/ST/OBC)

-->Upper age limit is 27 years.

-->Graduates in History, Archaeology, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Geology, Museology, Anthropology/B.E, B.Arch, B.Town Planning can apply. Admission is through an entrance test.

**Selection is based on written Test and Interview.
Applications are invited in June and the session commences in October

Thanks for the information. I searched the information on Archeaolgical Survey of India site and found that the Upper age limit is 25, Pls confirm as this is very confusing.

Yes , you can but it's highly applicable when u choose your masters to be as in your same field as your UG . You can make a list of universities offering the course you wanted to pursue and you can send in your transcripts and ask for the procedure.
