I am doing Bsc with zoology hons,would i be able to do masters in microbiology..?

for that you have to clear the entrance exams and you will get the required course but it also depends upon seat availability and your marks scored.

different colleges have demand of Bsc in with certain subjects compulsory, however most of them just need a BSc degree thats it

yes , you can apply for it,
eligibility criteria is different from university to university
From DU you need 55% in graduation ,and from other university like ( I P , Jamia , other central university ) you need 50%,
other state university you need just graduation
