i hav cleard ma gate, bt the score is 32 (eligible)
i want to do my Mtech in biotechnology, hw should i proceed here on?????

as you have score just 32 marks in gate exam it is impossible for you to get admission in any of the iits or nits........but you can apply for many other private colleges the list of private colleges are as follow
1.techno india kolkata
2.manipal university
3.asansol engineering college
and there are many you can get the full detail of the colleges under the following link

it is not possible to get admitted in iits and any of the nits.
but you can opt for other private colleges.
just go to the google site and search collge list across the country.

you have little bit chance to get admission in IITS for M.tech in biotechnology with your GATE score 32.

it cant say that surely you will get chance in NITs.

and with your rank you can get very good govt colleges also.

Yes you can still do MTech from good institution , but from IITs it is not possible. At this score you can admission only in NITs . But doing MTech from NITs is also a good option. Follow this:
1. Firstly you fill the forms of NIT-MTech according to the advertisements published in newspapers.
2. Be in touch with them till then you get a call from NIT.
3. If you dont get any call from NITs then be patient for some time.
4. After some days you will automatically see a list of blank seats in NIT-MTech. Do follow that advertisement.

I am quite sure that you would get admission in MTech from NIT since as per the records of last years, NIT filled their seats with Non-gate candidates in this regards.

which subject should i choose for appearing in GATE? life science or Biotechnology, as i feel comfortable with both of their syllabi,but my PG was in Biotech. what should be the criteria for choosing one? Plz reply.

WHAT IS THE MIMIMUM MARK THAT HAS TO BE SCORED IN ORDER TO GET INTO IIT OR IISC?

your score is not so bad but you can not get iit at this score but can get colleages like
1.techno india kolkata

GATE is the exam which is conducted by the IIT's to select candidates for the M.Tech courses in them, NIT's, BITS and other different engineering colleges in India.

It full form is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

Now this exam is of 1000 marks which is the maximum. And it has been noticed over the past years that a minimum of 95 percentile and above is required to get you a seat in any of the IIT's or NIT's to study M.Tech.

Coming to your point, that you have 32 Score, I feel it is too low for you to get any seat in any of the M.Tech courses.
The only 2 options left for you are either you attempt GATE next year for a better result or you can take admission in any of the private universities.


The decision is upto you.
