Can I be eligible for MPSC exam after completing diploma in civil engineering
hello sir my self palash ..i' m just completed my diploma in civil engg...now i'm in engg...can i eligible to give the mpsc exam....and what is the meaning of group "a" and group "b" in civil ..?

You have to be a graduate to be eligible for the test. Eligibility for MPSC Examination is that candidate must have completed minimum 19 years of age and maximum age limit for open category candidates is 33 years. The age limit is relaxed by five years in case of candidates from reserved category. For handicapped candidates the maximum age limit is 45 years. Aspirants in final year of degree course can apply and appear for the Preliminary Examination. They also have to submit the proof of degree qualification while applying for the Main Examination. You need to have bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering.
The optional subjects for the exam are as follow: 1. Agriculture 2. Agricultural Engineering 3. Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science 4. Botany 5. Chemistry 6. Civil Engineering 7. Commerce & Accountancy 8. Computer Science 9. Economics 10. Electrical Engineering 11. Electronics Engineering 12. Geography 13. Geology 14. History 15. Home Science 16. Horticulture 17. Law 18. Management 19. Mathematics 20. Mechanical Engineering 21. Medical Sciences 22. Philosophy 23. Physics 24. Political Science and International Relations 25. Psychology 26. Public Administration 27. Sociology 28. Statistics 29. Zoology 30. Marathi (Literature) 31. Hindi (Literature) 32. English (Literature ) 33. Sanskrit (Literature ) 34. Urdu (Literature) In the MPSC, there is recruitment of 435 posts which is segmented into Group A and B posts. In Group A, posts like Deputy Collector: 44 Posts DSP/ ACP: 24 Posts, Tahsildar: 35 Posts,. Asst Commissioner of Sale Tax: 06 Posts, Deputy Chief Executive Officer/ Group Development Officers: 09 Posts, Asst Director/ Maharashtra Finance and Service: 07 Posts In Group-B, Class officers: 02 Posts, Asst Group Development Officers: 46 Posts, Asst Registrar, Cooperative Societys: 10 Posts, Deputy Superintendents, Land Record: 19 Posts, Deputy Superintendent, States Excise: 02 Posts, Asst commissioner, State Excises: 01 Post, Asst Regional Transport Officer: 03 Posts, Deputy Tahsildar: 227 Posts are there. |
