I'm from karnataka. I got an all India rank above 1lac, but my state ranking is 3343 under the category of general quota. Can i get into NIT, Suratkal with my rank? please reply fast..

sorry to say dear you have no chance for nit suratkal.

To get addmission in NIT suratkal, your AIR must be less than 7,000.
state rank will not help you if you have poor AIR.

no u can not expect admission in NIT suratkal as u r sta te rank is too high to get into it. u should try for other collages.

i dont think that you will get NIT because it gets filled up with a lesser rank. with your state rank you may try out the counseling but that would be very uncertain that whether you'll get an admission or not.

Nah !!! You can't even expect of Getting a Good Branch !! Because if your Rank is around 3k in state then i think you would be having Your AIR around 30k to 40k...

So, Go and Get prepared for Online Couselling and the scheduled for the Counselling.

I think State Rank has No relation with You Admission now. Just Go for it and Hope for the Best.

No,buddy you are able to take admission in NIT anywhere in India,but you can get very good engineering college.
so get prepared for counselling.

since you have 3343 rank in state and even if there are 500 seats from state quota

you can see that you have no chance of getting a seat.

further 3343 state rank means your AIEEE rank is around 45 k-50 k

even the last ranks in nits come much higher at around

25 thousand so the suggestion for you is to

look for private colleges and forget about NITs.

it is not possible . the admission in every NIT is done on the basis of AIR not on the basis of state rank. As you all India rank is about 1 lakh so you would not get admision in NITs.
But there is no need of worry, you will get good private engineering colleges where your future would be secured. I am providing you the list of some good colleges that are as follows:
