National Institute of Technology-Karnataka conducts an admission process for its two year MBA programme. NIT-Karnataka was established in 1960 and has been a pioneering engineering institute since then. It started providing two year MBA programme in the recent years with great success. NIT-Karnataka has a very good infrastructure and facilities for management education. The institute provides very good placement opportunities to its students.

The selection of the candidates is made on the basis of their scores in the CAT examination. The MBA program in this university seeks excellent CAT scores. The candidates will have to fill up a separate application form for NIT-Karnataka. The short listing of the candidates on the basis of CAT score proceeds further with a group discussion and personal interview. On the basis of all these criteria, the candidates are finally selected and admitted.

Eligibility criteria:

The applying candidate should be a graduate and should have secured at least 50 percent marks in graduation. Those candidates who are in their final year of graduation and are eligible for CAT examination can also apply for this college.

The application forms for NIT-Karnataka can be downloaded through the website www.nitk.ac.in.  Candidates have to send the completed application form along with a demand draft, copies of certain documents and CAT score card.

Selection process:

The candidates for the MBA program in NIT Karnataka are selected on the basis of the CAT scores. The candidates who are shortlisted are then further analyzed in GD and personal inter view. A combined result from all these analysis determines the selection of the candidates.
