MTU stands for Mahamaya Technical University. Earlier there was two universities for technical courses in Uttar Pradesh, MTU and UPTU. Now, there is one university called APJ Abdul Kalam Technical university. There are more than hundred engineering colleges under APJ Abdul Kalam Technical university.

The eligibility criteria for engineering is that you must appear for Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance Examination. Academic qualification required for this entrance exam is 10+2 passed or appearing from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. Minimum percentage of marks required is 50% in board exams.

You are not eligible for admission in engineering because you have less than 50% aggregate in board exams.
