How To Get Admission To Air Force Academy

In order to get admission to the Indian Air Force Academy..you can appear for the National Defense Academy (NDA) Exam which is conducted every year by the UPSC for admission to the following wings :-

>> Naval Academy
>> Military Academy
>> Air Force Academy

Candidates who wish to appear for the NDA Exam must satisfy the following eligibility criterion :-

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years as on 1st January or 1st July depending on whether you are appearing in April or August..

>> Candidate must have completed their 12th from a recognized institute with MAths and Physics as their subjects in 12th for joining the Air Force..

Unless you clear your 12th..you are not eligible for appearing for the NDA Exam..

You need to clear 2 exams in the written exam round :-

>> General Ability Test
>> Maths

You have to clear the following rounds in order to get selected for the academy :-

>> Written Exam
>> SSB Interview
>> Medical Exam
