Can I get a good government or private college after scoring 159 rank in UPTU lateral entrance exam


I got 159 rank in uptu lateral entry exam. I am completed b.SC this year so can I get a good government or private college plz tell me.

Some of the good government colleges of UP are-

- Agra College
- Aligarh Muslim University
- Alaahabad university
- Bundelkhand Institute of Engineering and Technology
- Chhatrapati Shashu Ji Maharaj University
etc.
Apart from these there are certain private colleges also which you should know in case you do not get a chance in the government ones. Those are-
- AKGEC
- ABES
- IMSEC
- IDEAL Engineering College
- JSS Engineeing College
- JAYPEE Engineering College
- Galgotia University

Since your rank is good so you have very bright chances of getting a seat in any of the above mentioned colleges. Also, since you have already done your diploma and will be applying for the lateral entry so during placements also you have a very bright chance of getting a good job.

So, see which college suits you and apply for it then.
