i am b.com graduate in 2006 can i get govt job now?...please tell me if I can get

Its not a matter to worry that you will not get the job after your graduation as you have passed from 2006 batch. But for every govt. job there is an age limit regarding every exam.So whenever you are appearing for any exam you must know all the eligibilty regarding that & then follow the procedure ahead.

As you are a b.com graduate so you can appear for many bank exams & L.I.C recruitment exams.For more details it is advisable to you to get the latest updates either from the Employment news Or from the various websites.

You have few scope for govt sector exam . So be careful about this.

7)DEFENSE SECTOR

8)RAIL WAY JOBS.

I have focused only the govt sector jobs.The best option for you to go for higher study like M.COM or MBA.

Can I get a government job after B.Com graduation course?

Yes of course , you can get government job after completion of your B.Com degree .Completion of B.Com degree means you have completed Graduation which will make you eligible for appearing in most of the government exams which are for general means excluding techincal and engineering students .You would be able to sit in exams like :

• Bank PO
• IAS
• IPS
• SSC(Graduation Level) e.t.c

Since you have a commerce background i will suggest you to go for courses like :

• Company Secretary
• Chartered Accountancy
• ICW
• Hotel Management

These courses are considered best for commerce students and contains a lot of money .


If you want to get a government job then ,prepare for entrance exams and after getting success in written exam , you will have to face an interview to get that job. Today the competition is not really easy so you will need to work hard.

Yes you have lot of opportunities in government sector after completing B.Com graduation.The jobs which you can apply are
1.Bank jobs.
2.Railway jobs.
3.UPSC jobs.
4.Army jobs.
5.IPS.
6.IAS.

For all above jobs you are eligible so you can apply for this jobs.You should have good academic career about 55% for government jobs.The age limits for government sector are 18-30 years.Relaxation is available for reservation candidates.

EACH TOPIC COVER AT LEAST 50 QUESTIONS.
