I am 35 years old and i am studying bca final year. Can i get sarkari
job after complete bca in age of 36 or 37.

It is difficult to get a job at the age of 36. The upper age limit for most of the central government job is 30 years. One can apply for state government jobs up to 35 years. Reserved categories can expect age relaxation. OBC candidates are offered with 3 year age relaxation, where as SC/ST candidates can have the same up to 5 years. For special positions, work experience, candidates above 35 years are also considered.

Unfortunately that is not possible. The maximum age limit for government jobs is 30 for general, 33 for OBC and 35 for SC/ST. In all these cases you are not eligible to apply for any government job.


I think you should consider option of further studying then you would be able to get government job. Even after completing BCA, the scope for you in private sector is almost zero. IT companies are not likely to hire a candidate who have completed graduation at the age of 37 years.


That rules out of the option of doing MCA to get job in IT sector. Since there will be no scope for you in IT sector after completing the MCA course. By that time your age will easily cross 40 years. So lets see what are the options in front of you.


Your best chance is in teaching sector. Even in government sector, there is no upper age limit to apply for teaching job. Therefore a degree that can make you eligible for school teaching job or college lectureship.


Now it is up to you to decide whether you want to become school teacher or college lecturer. If you want to become school teacher then you will have to complete B.Ed course while for college lectureship you will need a post graduation degree.


Bachelor of Education

1. A graduation degree from a recognized university.

2. Minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation.

3. OBC candidates need 45 percent marks.

4. The requirement for SC/ST is 40 percent marks.



Teachers Eligibility Test

Once you have completed the B.Ed degree please apply for the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) conducted by state of central government. If you managed to pass it then you will become teacher in government school.



Eligibility

1. A graduation degree in any stream.

2. minimum of 50 percent marks in graduation.

3. A B.Ed degree from a recognized university.

4. There is no age limit for TET Exam.




College Lectureship

Like I mentioned earlier, you will need to complete a post graduation degree. It could be MCA, MBA or any other degree that you prefer. After that you should apply for National Eligibility Test that is conducted for college lectureship and PhD.


Eligibility

1. A post graduation degree from UGC recognized university.

2. Minimum of 55 percent marks.

3. SC/ST should secure 50 percent marks.

4. Final year students can also apply.

5. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship.

6. There is no limit on number of attempts.
