BCA stands for Bachelor of Computer Applicationand the duration of the course is for 3 years . The course is divided into 6 semester .

The minimum educational qualification required for BCA course is needed 12th standard.But your 12th standard marks must be above 45%.

But your 12th standard course must contain Maths or Stat or Computer Application subject.

Some colleges conducts their own entrance exam , in this case they can consider any subject requirement.

There is no age criteria so any body can apply for BCA course in any time but your minimum age should be 17 years old.

Eligibility Criteria:

>The main eligibility criteria to study BCA is that you should have minimum 50% of marks at 10+2 level and while pursuing this course your age should not be less than 17 years.

>You should have mathematics as one of your subject at 10+1 level.

>Along with science students, commerce students can also study this subject. Those commerce students who had computer application as one of their subjects will find this course easier.

>The admission procedure varies from one college to the other. Some gives direct admission but the top rung colleges generally conducts an exam and merit list is published by combining your board marks and entrance exam marks.

>Selection procedure includes written exam, group discussion and personal interview.
