Getting into IIT's or NIT's with your score is not possible unless you have quota.
The best thing you can do is to apply for private universities like VIT, SRM, MAHE, KIIT, NIRMA etc becase these are also very good colleges.

hii, for iit s you need to have 96 percentile there are very few chances nut hope in NITs please apply for all ,best of luck.

You can't take admission in IITs with 86.74 % in GATE. As for getting into IITs you msut have 98% marks in GATE.
Bit there is few chance to get admission in NITs , but you will get sure admission in some other good colleges.
So better to apply in govt. colleges.
You can get admission in Jadavpur university.

Dear if u got above 90 percentile than only u have chances for NIT and IIT
Now less chances to get any NIT...........but try for govt. colleges and pvt. inst. who take admission through GATE...........

hii, with 86.47 percentile you have less chances of aking into iits but very fine chance in NITs please apply ai all NITs soon.

this is a good percentage in the GATE exam you can defiantly go for a recognized college in india.

there are many institute which are the best in the country:-

IIT bombay
IIT chennai
IIT khargpur
IIT kanpur
IIT delhi
NIT college
etc

you can go four these college by your percentage.

Taking admissions in IIT would require a whilesome rank of 700 and above while in NIT it goes to 1000 ranking.
