my gate score is 511. 42.67 marks and 96.7 percentile in ece discipline. can i get through iit or top nits

This is really good percentile.Yes there is some chance to get admission in the IITs . If you won't get into the IIT then you were surely get chance in NITs in electronics and communication.

Try for NIt nagpur,NIt surat,NIT allahabad,NIT bhopal,NIt jamshedpur.........

If you are really expecting this one,then it is really a good score,you may have chance of getting into some IITs also, No doubt about NITs,you will get it for sure.

hi! i am expecting 43 in GATE 2013 ECE, do i have a chance of getting a seat in NITs?
