Yes, you can appear for the interviews in software companies like TCS, Infosys or Wipro which are coming for the campus placement provided you are interested in it...

-> Now a days even in software field they are in need of Bio Tech students for some bio based projects..

-> You must be good in the programming basics like C and C++.. so if you are able to answer those questions which they ask in interview then for sure they will select you...

-> Just prepare well for the aptitude round and learn some basics of programming and off-course your core subjects basics too.. then for sure you will end up in good software company..

>> There are so many MNCs that needs talent instead of branch. If you have enough talent and desperateness then you will definitely become a part of any software company.

>> For this you just have to search the right job for you. I also advice you to choose in advance that which field of software is suitable for you to work. some of the fields of software company is programming, development, Testing and mainframe.

I am a b.tech biotechnology student......now I am going to attend a campus recruitment of a software company.what should I answer if they ask question like why software after biotech.

In the job interviews of MNCs question that they are asking commonly is, Studying Biotechnology then why Software job? could anyone help me out by answering this question.
