Yes, its necessary to give an entrance exam to get into B.pharma college
.
Most colleges that offer B.Pharma programs conduct their own entrance exams to select eligible candidate.Medical colleges in India offer admission to prospective candidates only on the basis of the ranks that they attain in the entrance exam.

It is not necessary to give an entrance exam. It all depends on the institute where you plan to pursue the course. If the intake for that institute is through written exam then you need to appear for the same. First make a list of the options you have. Based on that you need to check the admission criteria for the same and prepare accordingly.

B.Pharm

It is not important to give the B.pharm exam because many college take admission through there management quota.

So, it depends upon you either you want to face a competition or want a shortcut.

YES, it is necessary to give an entrance exam to get admission into B.Pharm. College.

Eligibility for B. Pharmacy course: -

1. Pass 10+2 exam or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology with a minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university.

2. Nationality - Indian

3. Age - 18 Years to 21 Year

Eligibility for B.Pharma Programs

Most colleges ask for 10+2 examination marks or A Levels.
Prospective candidates are required to have had Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology as the main subjects in the qualifying examinations.
Computer Science or Biology are also some times accepted by certain colleges as optional subjects.
English subject is also usually required by all colleges.
The criteria of minimum percentage of marks may differ from college to college.

If you want admission in the top most colleges without donation i.e management quota,you need to give entrance exam it is compulsory.

For example if you are from Andhra Pradesh.
there entrance exam is EAMCET
IF you get good rank you will be getting admission in good colleges in Andhra Pradesh.
Like kakatiya university, one of the best university for b.pharmacy
Osmania university.........

if you didn't gave the entrance exam, if you want admission in kakatiya, you have to pay 5 to 8 lakhs for graduation

so i suggest you to give the entrance exam,and get good ranks ,and take admission in good college.
entrance exam will different from each states

there is no direct entry for the admission in B.Pharm.

but some private colleges take direct admission without entrance exam.

After Class XII (PCM/B), the study of pharmacy is at the following levels

Diploma courses are of 2 years' duration, degree courses of 4 years' duration.

After graduate degree in pharmacy, M Pharma course of 2 years' duration can be undertaken.

Graduates in pharmacy can opt to do postgraduate study in biotechnology, particularly if they aspire to become research scientists.

Diploma holders can find work work as technicians.

Graduate pharmacists can opt for retail and hospital jobs.

Postgraduates and doctorates are selected for research, production, quality control and management positions.

To take the admission in the B. Pharma all the state conduct their own
entrance exam along with B.E. entrance exam. ie UPTU,RTU, PTU etc.

Eligibility:- 10+2 (PCB) with 60% marks are eligible to appear in entrance
exam.

Each college has some management and NRI Quota which is filled by the management. These seats can be filled by those students who have not appeared in the entrance exam, depending upon the management.

The fee of B.Pharma is almost equal to the fee of B.E.

i am from gujrat. i have not appeared for mht cet 2012 but want admission in a good pharmacy college in mumbai. is it possible on the basis of my xiith marks of phy, chem and maths of cbse? i have appeared for aieee2012 and expect an air of around 35000. can i get admission to b pharm on the basis of aieee?

It is not necessary to give the entrance exam for the admission in Pharmcay course in the graduation degree.The basic eligibility for this course is to have a successfully passed out in +2 from the PCB background.

If you go for the Entrance exam then you will get the good science colleges for this course.There are many private colleges and some govt colleges where admission takes place directly.So There is not any necessary to appear in the entrance exam for the B.pharma colleges.

Can I get admission for bpharm by getting 72 marks in mht cet 2018 &67% in hsc2018? Suggest me a college in pune or mumbai.
