As RVD i think is AICTE Approved which is a Recognized University then you are Eligible for writing Gate Exam

Few points on Eligibility :-

Bachelor's of Engineering and those who are in Final year or Pre final year can write this Exam.Master's Degree holder of Science, Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Application can also apply for this.

There is No such Criteria about Limitations in Attempts. You can Attempt as many times you can. Gate Score is Valid upto 2 years. So you can Give till you don't Get Good Score Eligibility for Gate is Engineering/Technology/Architecture Degree From any Recognized University.

If RVD university is AICTE approved then you are eligible to appear in GATE exam for M.tech course..
Eligibility for GATE exam:-

*The candidate must have complete the bachelor degree in the field of- B.E/B.tech/B.Pharm from a recognized university.
Or,
*The candidate must have complete the master degree in the field the of - M.Sc in any general science stream/MCA/MBA from a recognized university..

*No age limit, and no number of attempt restriction..

As you have done B.tech from RVD university then try to find out that our university is AICTE approved or not..

GATE Eligibility

The candidates with following academic background are eligible to appear in GATE 2011 Examination:

Bachelor's degree holders Engineering/ Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

Master degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes.

If your college is UGC approved then you have chance for GATE exam.

Gate score is valid for 2 years and there is no restriction for attempts.

The eligibility criteria for M-TECH admission:-

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

(b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

(c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only)

(d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs).

I HAVE DONE DIPLOMA FROM RVD IN DISTANCE MODE.AM I APPLICABLE TO TAKE ADMISSION IN REGULAR COURSE.
