can i give ipcc exam after completing bcom with 50%?

You are definitely eligible to register fir IPCC if you have scored 50% marks in B.Com.
Make sure that your percentage is 50% or above because 50% is the minimum marks
(for commerce graduate) required for direct admission in IPCC.
Even if your marks is 49.99% you are not eligible.

There are total 7 papers in IPCC, divided in two groups.

There are two Groups in IPCC.

Group-I
Paper 1:Accounting
Paper 2:Law, Ethics and Communication
Paper 3:Cost Accounting and Financial Management
Paper 4:Taxation

Group-II
Paper 5: Advanced Accounting
Paper 6:Auditing and Assurance
Paper 7: Information Technology and Strategic Management

You can take both group exams in the same session or in different sessions according to
your convenience.

If you take the two group exams in the same session then you can undergo 3 year
articled training after passing the same and after completion of the training you can
apply for Final Course exam.
If you apply for the two group exams in different sessions then you can start articled
training after passing Group-I exam. You can apply for Group-II exam during the training
or later.

CPT Exemption for Graduation Students : -

Any Commerce Graduates/Post Graduates who had studied any 3 full papers of 100 marks each out of

1. Accounting

2. Auditing

3. Mercantile Law

4. Corporate Law

5. Economics

6. Management Including Financial Management

7. Income Tax Laws

8. Indirect Tax Laws

9. Costing

10.Business Administration

11. Management Accounting

I have completed my B.com with 52% and as your information I could join CA IPCC directly. But I could not get the official information on the ICAI site could you please state the notice of that 50%. and deadline for the registration for 2013 Nov exam? I think its Jan 31 its urgent please reply me!

no friend.. you cannot appear for ipcc with 50% marks..
minimum marks requirement to be exempted from CPT is 55% marks then only you can appear for ipcc.. tough luck friend..

If,you want to join in IPCC with B.com you must satisfy following conditions ;
>> you must complete degree in case you belongs to commers background Reqiuired percentage is 55%.
>> In case you belongs to others you must required 65%.
>> and you must complete ITT , Orientation and 7 months traning program which is related to CA courses before the joining of IPCC course
>> Then only you can eligible for to write IPCC exam.
>> after the completion of IPCC you can Eligible for CA FINAL.

You cannot directly appear in this Exam.Only CA Students who have cleared the CPT Exam are only Eligible to get Registered for this and they can only appear in this exam.

no dear you are not elligible for ipcc after bcom with 50%

as per notification of icai bcom graduates have to score minimum 55% for dirct entry to ipcc course

and other than commerce graduates have to score minimum 60% for direct entry to ipcc

as you have less than 55% you will have to get register for cpt which is held twice a year in months of june and december,
