Re: Can i go for IBPS exam after completing graduation from Maths Hons
If you want to do job then surely you can apply for the Clerk/Bank PO exam by the Institute of Banking Personnel Services. It would depend on your choice. Both exams have same qualification criteria.
Although the salary of Bank PO is better than Clerk and there is more scope of good promotion in the future. If you can wait till next year then apply for the Bank PO Exam otherwise the admission process for the IBPS Clerk for December 2012 is currently underway, you should go for it. The next IBPS Bank PO will take place in June 2013. Both exams are conducted on the behalf of 19 Public Sector Banks. You can apply for job in any of these banks with your IBPS Exam score. IBPS Clerk Eligibility 1. A graduation degree from a recognized university. 2. Diploma or degree in Computers or it should be one of subjects in High School or College. 3. Age Limit is 18 to 28 years. 4. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC while 5 years for SC/ST. IBPS Bank PO 1. Minimum of bachelor degree in any stream. 2. Age limit is 20 to 30 years with relaxation of, 3. 3 years for OBC 4. 5 years for SC/ST. If you want to study further then M.Sc is great option especially if you want to become College Lecturer. However if you want job in private sector I would recommend that you consider Master of Business Administration course (MBA). You can appear for entrance exams like CAT with 50 percent marks in graduation while there is no percentage criteria for MAT entrance exam. |
