of course u can... colour doesnt matter but make sure u dont have any scars or birth marks(especially on face)... ur height and weight are perfect..similar to mine..lol!! just make sure that u r well groomed..if u get through it... 50% selection for sure.. best of luck..just maintain confidence..

Air hostess is one of the highly paid profession and many people dream to become air hostess. Women are called Air hostess and men are called Stewards.

Eligibility criteria:
- You need complete your 10+2 from any course (some institutions provide courses after 10 also you can even join in that of courses and get certified).
- Height: minimum 157 Cms (5.2") and weight should proportional to height.
- Unmarried.
- Skin complexion is not considered but it should be Fair to clear complexion.
- Physical fitness and attractive physic.
- Your medical condition should be very good (No diseases).
- Eye sight should be 6/9.
- Behavioral skills like Greeting passengers with smile, friendly nature, team work etc.
- Good communication skills (English, Hindi are compulsory and knowing any other foreign languages will be plus to your career).
- Positive attitude.

Examination:
There are 3 stages in selection process
1. Written - Aptitude and reasoning (just like other competitive exams).
2. Group Discussions.
3. Personal interview.
After clearing this rounds you'll be given training for 3 months then you are appointed as air hostess.

Look recruiter has got nothing to do with colour of the skin, if they do then its a serious offence of racism, yes many recruiter specifies minimum required height and weight and it various from recruiting company to company, I guess you height and weight suits the job, please go through the eligibility guidelines mentioned by different recruiters.

I can understand your concern. However, you need not to worry. They do not look at the cimplexion.
But yes, they do not want any visible tatoo, birth msrk, scars etc.

Yes, you can apply for Air hostess training it doesn't matters that you have dark complexity but you should not have scars,cut marks,Birth marks,Deep dark circles around eye's.Other eligibility required to apply for Air hostess training are as follows:-

Color complexion does not matter in air hostess. The skin should be spotless along with other below mentioned criteria-

1. Height - 152 or high
2. Communication - Excellent written or verbal communication
3. Unmarried
4. 12th pass minimum
5. Willing to work for service industry
6. Willing to work under pressure
7. Time zone differentiation can also be a factor

This is not at all true.This job requires you to be confident and presentable with a great smile on your face. you need to possess certain qualities for becoming a flight attandent not your skin color however your skin should be clear without any visible marks.

you should be able to fulfill the criteria given by the airline and complexion is not a critiria anywhere.

No, having a fair skin is not mandatory at all. You just need to have a clear skin i.e you shouldn't have any scars or marks or pimples on your face. Even if you have any small mark or a few pimples, you can cover them up with makeup. till your face looks fresh and clear, you're good to go.
You need to have clear complexion that is, no tanning or uneven skin tone. You need to have flawless skin free from pimple,acne, scar and blemishes

The airline recruiters never select candidates based on their skin tone… By clear complexion they simply mean a clear spotless skin without any scars,marks or tattoos on visible parts like face, neck & hands.

If you are confident & possess a personality that they are looking for, you must try at least. You should be eligible according to their requirements like regarding age, BMI, vision, qualification etc.
