Hello Friend!

YES of course, you can join Indian Army after B.Com(UG) or MBA(PG). To join Indian Army you need to appear in CDS Examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year as CDS(I) & CDS(II). Through CDS Exam you can join Indian Rmy as an Army Officer.

Pay Scale:- Rs. 25000-60000


Basic Eligibility criteria for CDS(Indian Army) Exam:

~~ You should be Graduate in any discipline from recognized university.

~~ Or you can also apply for CDS while in final year of Graduation course.

~~ To join CDS(Indian Army), your age should be in between 19 to 24 years.

AS you can join the Indian Army after either B.Com or MBA. For this you have to give the CDS (Combined Defence Services) exam. It is conducted by the UPSC twice in a year.

All the procedures and eligibility criteria are given below:


1.* Sex and Marital Status:*Only unmarried male candidates are eligible.

2.**Educational Qualification:

1. For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy:*Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.
2. For Indian Naval Academy:*Degree in Engineering for CDSE and Degree in Engineering or B.Sc. (with Physics or Mathematics) for NCC entry.
3. For Air Force Academy:*Degree of recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Graduates with first choice as Army / Navy / Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB.
Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree course and have yet to pass the final year degree examination can also apply.

CDS - COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICE exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as CDS-I and CDS-II for entry in to:-

INDIAN MILITARY ACADEMY
INDIAN NAVAL ACADEMY
INDIAN AIR FORCE ACADEMY
INDIAN OFFICER'S TRAINING ACADEMY

The candidate must be an unmarried Indian male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 24 years with good Physical and Mental health, is eligible to apply for Indian Army of CDS.

The selection is through written exam followed by personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.
