Hi everyone, I am studying Commerce in 12th standard. I will do Graduation after my 12th. So, after completing my Graduation I can join Indian Army? If yes, then which are posts available on Graduation basis?

You are eligible to appear for NDA examination after 12th and CDS after bachelor degree.

Both NDA and CDS examination is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted twice in a year.

The examination is conducted in two stages. For more information about the syllabus and examination pattern visit at www.upsc.gov.in.

Here are the different ways where one can be a part in Indian Army after Graduation:-
1)The JAG Entry ( law graduate with minimum of 55%marks,aged between 21-
27 years)
2)CDS Examination( any graduation degree,age is between 19-25 years,male candidate, you can select either Indian Military Academy (IMA) /Officers Training Academy (OTA)/AFA/INA , for female candidates , its OTA where the training is given.
3)TGC Entry(B.E or a B.Tech degree holder,age between 19-25 years females,20-27 for male)
4)Special Entries for NCC (no entrance test required ,it direct SSB interview if you have NCC 'A'/'B' certificate, age should be between 19-25 years)
5)University Entry Scheme (UES Entry Scheme):-(only male candidates can apply for it,age in between 19-24 years)
