You are in BA in Part 2 so you are not applicable for IPS and CBI exam . But when you are in final year of your graduation degree then you are applicable for IPS and CBI exam .

You are doing BA degree from IGNOU so you are applicable IPS and CBI Exam.Because IGNOU is a recognized university .

IPS stands for Indian Police service.

IPS exam is conducted by UPSC.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam .

Those candidate have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam.Final year student are applicable for IPS Exam.

The Age criteria for IPS Exam is given below -

Minimum Age = 21 years old
Maximum Age = 30 years old

Age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years.

The maximum no of attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation .

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

The minimum Qualification needed to sit in this exam is to be Graduate enough in any Discipline.

Your should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.

CBI Stands Central Bureau Of Investigation

CBI examination is conducted by SSC

CBI have following Three fields

Criminal Investigation Body

National Security Body

Intelligence Agency

Eligibility :

Candidates must be citizen of India

Candidates should have completed Graduation (OR) any equivalent from a recognized University

Candidates age limit between 20 to 27 years

The upper age relaxation as per govt rules

3 years age relaxation for OBC Candidates

5 years age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates

Selection Process :

Written Test

Interview

Written Examination Pattern :

Part I :

Written examination carrying 400 marks

General Test

General Intelligence & Reasoning

General Awareness

Numerical Ability

Part II :

Personal Test carrying 100 marks

English Language

Language Comprehension

Communication

Ability Test

IPS is a one of the civil service examination

IPS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission once a year

sorry , you are not eligible for IPS and CBI exam because You are in BA in Part 2 But when you are in final year of your graduation degree then you are eligible for IPS and CBI exam ......
