Sir my aim is to do MCA in future so please suggest me that should I take BSc Maths honours or should I join BCA??? I am doing BSc with Maths as pass subject........

In order to join MCA, a candidate need not necessarily be from BCA. Even a candidate from B.Sc. Maths is eligible to join MCA. Only thing that is required is the candidate should have come across Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 or Graduation.

As per that you can join MCA. As you have not completed graduation, start preparation for the respective entrance exams along with academics.

The admission to MCA will be given depending upon your performance in the entrance test. So prepae well for the entrance exam and try to get good rank and there by you can get admission in good college.

MCA is in good demand these days. Top IT companies are hiring the MCA candidates with good salaries.

So, be good enough in programming languages and other aspects and make sure that you will be placed by campus recruitment itself

Eligibility criteria for MCA course:
Candidate should complete any graduation degree with any discipline from recognized university.

As you have complete graduation degree with B.Sc course,then your are eligible for MCA course.

To get admission in good colleges,you have to appear for entrance exam.If you qualify in that exam,definitely,you can admission in good college.

* candidates must pass graduation with math as compoulsory subject.

then you go for giving the entrance exam,after you secure a good rank then you
are eligible to admission in a good college.

for entrance of MCA degree , the eligible criteria for MCA course.

those have BCA , BBA , BSC(CS,IT) ,B.SC(MATH,STAT) are eligible for MCA degree.

so after B.SC with math pass ,you are eligible for MCA degree.

your eligible for MCA. BCA is the based on computer applications,after completing BCA your eligible for MCA. so choose best choice which one will be improve your knowledge.all the best

A candidate need not have only BCA for getting admitted for MCA.To get admitted in MCA one needs to go through an entrance examination.

well out of both the courses that you have shortlisted you may do any one among them since both will take you to a career in mca after graduation
yes it is necessary to have maths either you do bca or b.sc
choose the course in which you are interested

As you are doing B.Sc with maths. Thats good.. you can easily do MCA after clearing the entrance exam.. The only need is Maths in matriculation and graduation..

1.science graduate.

2.minimum 50% marks in graduation.

3.math in 12th.

Yes you can take MCA as your post graduation course after doing B.Sc(MATH) in HONOURS. You are doing B.Sc(MATH) which is very good sign for your future and you want to do MCA after doing your graduation in B.Sc(MATH). This combination of course is vary good and you have many job opportunities after doing this.

In MCA you have many computer papers to read which are interesting and understandable to you.

For doing MCA you have passed your graduation in any stream with 50% aggregate marks in any discipline manner from a recognized university.

Dear Friend,
To pursue MCA you will need mathematics as one of the subject in either 10+2 level or in Graduation level.
As you have Maths as pass subject in B.Sc then also you can join MCA course after your Graduation and you will not need to loss an year and join again BCA course or Mathematics Honors course.
But if you pursue BCA before MCA then you will find it much helpful as you will then have knowledge of the things which you will study in MCA.

Yes, my friend you can join in MCA course after completion of B.Sc in maths..

For getting admission in MCA course you have to appear in entrance exams like-

1.NIMCET
2.JECA
etc..

After qualifying in any of these exam you can able to take admission in MCA course.

1.Candidate must have maths or stats in 12th or in graduation.
