Students having completed graduation are only eligible for MCA. Such students must have studied mathematics as a subject. Study of mathematics should be done either at HSC or degree. Entrance test and interview are conducted for admission. NIMCET, AIMCET, etc are some of the common entrance exams.

MCA is expanded as Master of Computer Administration. You cannot take MCA directly after 12th. You have to take Bachelor degree like BCA or B. Com first and then the PG course MCA.

MCA means master in computer application. this is a post graduation course... to join for MCA, the eligibilities are: * you should be a commerce student with 55% in 12th board. * or you can be a science student. next step is: * you should hold a bachelor degree. * you can take BCA which is bachelor in computer application.. this is a 3 year under graduation degree.. *you can also go for MCA if you are a graduate in engineering. but, definitely you cannot go for MCA just after your 12th board exams..
