Dear Aspirant

Definitely...you can apply for CID after passing 12th with commerce.


CID i.e. Criminal Investigation Department. The Criminal Investigation Department(CID) is a crime detection agency under the Government of India.


You can join CID after 12th or after completion graduation.


-> After 12th, you are eligible for constable post in CID

-> After graduation, you are eligible for Sub Inspector post considered as CID officer.



To join CID then you must appear for Indian Civil Service examination conducted by UPSC(Union public service commission).



Eligibility criteria to join CID after 12th:
---------------------------------------

• You should have passed 12th from recognized central/state board or school.
  
• You age should be betwen 20 to 27 years. (relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC.)
  
• You must be an Indian citizen.

Physical requirements for CID: You need, minimum HIGHT 165 cm AND and chest 76 cms.



Pattern of CID Exam:

Exam is divide in to 2 papers follow mention:

General test (Paper I): Duration -2 hr. In this the syllabus will be general intelligence and reasoning-50 marks and general awareness-75 and numerical ability-75

English language(Paper II): Duration -2 hr.The syllabus will be language comprehension, communication/writing= 200 marks and Ability test(physical)

Sorry to say that after 12th commerce you are not applicable for CID exam.Only graduate candidate are applicable for this post.

To join CID you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CID exam.(Criminology)

But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule.

The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.

Also you must be in citizen in India.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for C.I.D after passing 12th.

If you want to join then you can join After passing graduation with any stream from recognized university.

For C.I.D you have to qualify the entrance exam conduced by Staff Selection Commission once on a year.

The age limit for C.I.D is 21-27 year.

For ST/SC candidate the age limit is 21-30 year.

Yes,you are not eligible for CID exam.

CID stands for CRIME INVESTIGATION DEPARTMENT if you want to join in CID you need to apply for the CGPE exam this exam is conducted by the SSC board once a year.

ELIGIBILITY:

1.Graduate students are applicable

2.age limit for this exam 20 to 27 years.

3.3 years age relaxation for OBC candidates

4.5 years for SC/St candidates

5.Candidate should be a citizen of india.

you are not eligible to become CID officer.

To join in CID you need to crack CPGE( combined Graduation Preliminary Exam). This exam conducted by the SSC(Staff Selection Commission).

Eligibility criteria:

the candidate should be complete the graduation from a recognized university.

Your age limit should be in between 20 to 27 years.

The relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years.

And the sc/st candidates relaxation is 5 years.

The candidate should be citizen of india.

Both male and female candidates are eligible for this exam.

No You Cannot join CID after passing 12th in commerce because Only graduate candidate are applicable for this post
