I am a student of +2 and i have a commerce stream. So, can i join n.d.a.

You can join NDA Army wing as the minimum qualification required to appear for the exam is 12th pass in any stream. Your age must be between 16 ½ -19 years. You must also satisfy the physical fitness standards as laid out by the NDA. You can procure the application form from the designated post office. The NDA exam will be conducted twice in a year.

Definitely....you can join NDA{National Defence Academy} after passing 12th with commerce stream.

-To join NDA, you will have to appear in NDA entrance exam conducted twice in a year by UPSC{Union Public Service Commission}. NDA exam generally conducted as NDA I & NDA II.

-Through NDA you can join Indian Army, Navy & Air Force wings.

-Only Unmarried male candidates apply for NDA exam.



Basic Eligibility conditions for NDA:

• You should have passed 12th standard from State board or recognized school.
  
• To join Navy & Air Force, you must have passed 12th with PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Maths) group.
  
• There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.

Physical Requirements necessary for NDA

Exam Pattern for NDA written test:

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

Yes, you can join NDA after passing 12th Commerce through appearing its entrance exam.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

The selection is through written exam followed by Personal interview along with Physical Fitness and Medical Test.

As a candidate from Commerce stream you are only eligible to apply for Indian Army of NDA.
