Can I join UPSC classes on the basis of diploma?


hello sir,
My self Yogehree, i completed my diplom in civil engg. I wan to ask u can i join UPSC classes at the bases of my diploma otherwise for joining the clases of UPSC the graduation are essential or not..
Plz ans me as soon as possible.

UPSC Exam Pattern

Notification through gazette-

UPSC on behalf of government of India through gazette no.167/2012 notified to all applicants who wants to join Indian civil service vacancy around 1163 being filled up through direct recruitment.

UPSC Exam Date

Academic qualification-

All applicants should e graduate from recognized and approved colleges either from UGC or AICTE. No percentage ceiling is decided in this examination.

Age qualification-

All applicants should be in the age group from 21-30 years as on the 01-08-2012.

Recruiting way

- All applicants have to go through three tier of exam. Preliminary, mains and interview final merit will be drawn on the basis of mains and interview. In preliminary there would be two papers in mains total 9 papers of descriptive in nature will have to be written. Pre will be objective in nature.

How to apply-

All applicants have to get themselves registered on www.upsconline.gov.in and then filled up the application form on the site with all the details. Photograph and signature will be scanned.

Fee-

All general candidates have to pay 200 through credit card or internet banking. Women, SC, ST do not have to pays any charges.

UPSC Application Form

Number of chances-

All general applicants can appear 4 times in this examination, OBC 7 times and SC and ST have age limit only which is 38 years.

Details of papers in pre and mains-

Pre paper 1-general studies- 200 marks
Paper 2- CSAT 200 marks
Mains paper 1 &2- general studies 300 marks each
Paper 3- essay 200 marks paper 4- any Indian languages 300 marks
Paper 5&6- chosen subject 1 300 marks each
Paper 7- English languages 300 marks
Paper 8 &9- chosen subject no. 2 300 marks each.

Important dates-
Preliminary exam will be held on 20 may 2012 and mains will be started from 5th October to 24th October. Interview is conducted in march- April 2013.

Sorry you are not eligible for the UPSC exams and the only eligiblity for the exam is you need to have passed your graduation from recognized university and the age limit are:

21-30 yrs....

hi,

upsc stands for union public services commission.

upsc conduces civil services exam.

you can apply upsc exam after diploma.

upsc exam eligibility;-

--------------you must be graduate from a recognized university


-----age limit is 213-0 years.

---age relaxation is given per govt rules.

-----you must be Indian citizen.
