The eligible candidate must be an Indian Citizen having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University with 40% marks within the age of 30 years. Re: Can I opt for 3 years LLB course? I am a student of Sociology
Candidate with any bachelor degree is eligible for Law course. If you want admission in LLB then you should have completed graduation degree. It does not matter if you have completed Bachelor degree in sociology.
Therefore please do not worry and feel free to apply for the LLB course. However since you are doing master degree it would be better if you first finish that course. You won't be able to pursue both courses togather especially since LLB can't be pursued through correspondence. It is important to remember that LLB course is not offered through correspondence. The degree offered through correspondence is not LLB and neither recognized by the Bar Council of India. Therefore you should always pursue LLB through regular mode. Below is all the requirements to apply for the LLB course. LLB Eligibility 1. Bachelor degree in any discipline. 2. At least 45 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST need 40 percent marks. 4. The maximum age limit to apply is 30 years. 5. There is 5 years relaxation for SC/ST. 6. The criteria for OBC is same as General. |
