Can I study Bioinformatics after passing 12th?


i am a +2 student who has taken computer science. can i study bioinformatics? does it require a biological base?

No, you are not eligible for B. Sc Bioinformatics after completing 12th standard with the Computer science subject. Those candidates who have completed their 12th standard with biology, maths and chemistry are eligible. So, as per your educational qualification are you are not eligible for B. Sc Bioinformatics.

Courses After 12th Standard Computer Science:-
  • B.Sc Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Computer Science (BCA)
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
  • Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com)
