I have appeared 2 times in iit
How can i take 3rd attempt??????

no 2 can onli have 2 attempts one is in 12th nd the other one after 12..
dats it...

Pass 10 2 i.e. class XII again through any recognized board & the counter will be reset. Simple!

with blade change date of 12 markshit

sorry but there is no practical way to give iit exam third time. You have used your both chances. Now you can try for iit exam but forget about iit. Now you cannot reach it.

don't be depressed, it doesn't matter either u study engineering from iit or some other colleges. so take admission in any college. don't matter if u can't crack the IIT.

why are you dying for IIT?
Why don't you look at other career options now.?
Just don't lose hope and try for any other option immediately.

The number of attempts is two.Students will be allowed to take IIT-JEE in the year they pass the 12th exam & the following year only.

As you have already appeared IIT twice so you have become too old to appear 10th and then 12th again.
Your attempts are over.
Sometimes students feel defeated if can't clear some exam. It happens with many people so please don't try to make it in some wrong ways. You will be caught easily.
In AIEEE there is provision of third attempt. If you think that you can qualify IIT in third attempt then you should score within 1000 AIR in AIEEE and I don't think that is a bad career path. There are many engineers who couldn't qualify IIT but people know them for their work and researches in the advancement of science and technology.
So prepare for AIEEE well and forget about IIT. If you would have thought seriously about it before then you could clear it. But now it's late and time to take a turn towards AIEEE.
Don't be nervous for your career and life. If you deserve to be a good engineer then you would be, no matter you make it through IIT or some NIT or IIIT or BITS.

you cantake on improvement exam once again,and file for iitjee then.
in normal,you are not eligible for 3rd time any way.

Hard Luck buddy but IIT has just allowed 2 attempts. So you cant attempt IIT JEE for the 3rd time.

But dont worry. IIT isnt the end of the world. There are lots of exams all over india like AIEEE,COMEDK,BITSAT and many more

If you have lost in IIT JEE then you can attempt for AIEEE 3rd time. In AIEEE its permitted to answer for 3 times

So give it a try. Dont worry if you didnt crack IIT. Aim for GATE and get there for MTech

hii friend .... your life is not over yet... you have many surprises in future just u need some more hardwork.....IIT JEE has only 2 attempts you cant try for 3rd attempt.... best way i can say is you can join in of the private colleges and continue your studies... you have manythings to achieve in life so be brave and face all the problem work hard sure you wil get success..........

don't be deprassed.still you are eligiable for AIEEE and other state university related joint entrance.so it is better to try for those.

That's very unfortunate to listen that you hasn't got anything after attempting IIT-JEE twice but please don't worry !!!

The competition in IIT-JEE increases every year , so that may be difficult to crack IIT-JEE , but i have to tell you that one can appear for IIT-JEE two times at max .

Firstly , in parallel to 12th grade and

Secondly , after having a gap of a year after passing 12th with atleast 60% .

But you can appear for AIEEE in which 3 attempts are possible but i think that you should take coaching for it from a reputed institute as competition in AIEEE is rather greater than IIT-JEE , that you must be knowing , So do appear for this exam .

If you wan't to study in brand name of IIT , than you can go for your graduation after which you can appear for exams conducted by them for post graduation courses through JAM , JMET , GATE , etc ..

according to curent rules,one can't ake more than 2 atempts in jee. but you can take 2 atempts from the year you give +2 . so, you can get registered in any open school, or as an indipendent candidate or try state board exam and you can two more attempts. good luck

You cannot attempt the IIT-JEE 3rd times,there are only 2 attempt after the +2 level.

This rule was implemented in the year 2007.

if you are thinking ahead to give iit a third attempt then please don't because its not a good decision.Your second attempt can be considered right as you wre determined to crack iit but as you have not succceeded yet you must now take admission in some good college even under aieee rank also.Because each year you reappear more no.of candidates are competing you ,so go ahead with your bright future and make your parents proud of you..

you cannot give iit jee for the third time.why don't you try aieee.it is easier as compared to jee.

No dear you cannot go for third attempt after you had two previous. Its better that you carry on your engineering from any other college and than prepare yourself well for higher studies from IIT if you are so keen to be there. There is no other option available than this.

Dear Friend.I am very sorry to say that u can't take 3rd attempt for iit.But don't think that all thing is over u should give another comptitve exams like aieee with an aim that u havr to crack it and choose any good classes and do very well.

Try elsewhere, like AIEEE, BIT-SAT,WBJEE, COMED-K.. etc

Alright but my question is if i passed my 12th in the year 2009 but i appeared for my improvement exam in 2010 .. Now will that mean that i passed my 12th in 2009 or 2010 ???? Because i am facing a similar situation here . Kindly help .

If you show that you cleared 12th in 2010 and also you did not appear JEE-2009 then you can appear JEE-2011.
There is no other way out.

If any how you show that you are a fresh candidate and the attempt is your first than you can. but when you have appeared once alll the details would be there. Legally you have 2 attempts only. others you change your details, which is not right.

sorry dear according to your available marks sheat you can not be applicable fpr iit in 3rd attemp,it is possible only when u wiil again pass 12th class form any other board.in this way you can reach to your goal by wasting your one .but if you achieve iit by wating one it will also a pride for you .but do this only when you have full of confident to clear the iit.
one good news for you many seats are increased in iit,in 2009,so can got it easily and you also have 2 yr experiance.

no, you can not take the third attempt in iit jee, because there are only two attempts in it. as you have wasted both chances, so you must try some other exam.

You can't appear in IIT JEE exam thrice.

The IIT's have clearly mentioned that one can appear in IIT JEE only twice in two consecutive years after passing 10+2.
But don't loose heart there are other good engineering college you can try for them.

My chances of appearing for the JEE are over. I do feel defeated. Had God given me another chance... I passed 12th in 2009 & appeared for an improvement in Maths & Chemistry in 2010. Didn't take Physics for the improvement. Is there any means by which I can get a valid candidature?

Sorry to say...but you wont be able to take up IIT exam once again...because due to new guidelines...you have the chances of cracking IIt jee twicw ,that is one when you complete your 12th and the other just the next year of passing 12th exam...

one when the student giving the final exam and second after next year.

from 2006 IIT will provide only 2 chance to crack the IIT . 1st when you are in class 12 and 2nd just after 12 ...........so you must work hard for get admission in IIT JEE.....................

After the rule was mad in the 2005 for the iit jee,

there is no possible for giving the iit jee exam as a third attempt,only two

chances is applicable for the students.

As per normal norms of IIT, you can't appear in IIT exam after your two attempt.
But if you want to again appear in IIT-JEE, then the only way is you have to re appear in 10th as well as +2 also.

But it will waste your 3 precious year, so kindly just forgot IIT & move forward your aim.
