Dear aspirant,
IES stands for Indian Engineering Exam. It is conducted by UPSC. You must be an engineering graduate to apply for this exam. You can not use scientific calculator in this exam. Thank you!!! |

you can't take calculator in engineering entrance exam when you get hall ticket on the back side of it will be written as 1. students can't take calculator 2. They can't tables or loose papers or sheets 3. only hall-tickets, accesories like pen, pencil, eraser, sharpner etc only are arranged 4. Mobile phones are not allowed all the best |

ABOUT IES EXAM IES stand for Indian Engineering Services are the civil services that meet the technical and managerial functions of the Government of India. IES officers are selected on the basis of four-stage competitive examination (comprising six tests), called the Engineering Services Examination (ESE) is conducted by the UPSC for recruitment to the Indian Engineering Services. Eligibility : The candidate must be : A citizen of India . Educational qualifications : * * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E. / B. Tech) from a recognised university or equivalent. * * M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain services / posts only . Age limits : > > 21–30 years (GENERAL CANDIDATES ) Upper age limit relaxation is provided to candidates as follows: > > A maximum of three years for OBC candidates [Non Creamy Layer only > > A maximum of five years for candidates belonging to a Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe . Not at all, you cannot use scientific calculator for Indian Engineering Services exam. The educational qualifications regarding with Indian Engineering Services exam are below mentioned:- # Candidates must have finished their bachelor degree in Engineering in anyone of these curricula from any approved university. These curricula are below mentioned:- 1. Civil Engineering. 2. Mechanical Engineering. 3.Electrical Engineering. 4.Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. # Candidates of last year of bachelor degree are also preferable for this exam. # There is no need of percentage for this exam.
