Mumbai University was founded by Dr. John Wilson in 1857 and is modeled same as like the university of Brittan. The colleges affiliated under this university are spread throughout the city of Mumbai and four coastal districts in Maharashtra.  

Paper description:

The paper Analog and Digital Communication Paper is about transferring and signaling the information or data from one place to another actually the information is transfer by the help of some suitable mean like through Wires, satellite signal etc.. Information transfer is in coding form which decoded at the receiving site. The main topic cover in this paper under Mumbai B.E in computer science 4th semester is Entropy and Information rate, block diagram of M-ary PSK and PM Modulation,  Shannon’s theorem, Noise parameter, Ratio detector, Generator matrices, Ring Modulator etc.

Paper pattern:

Exam of Analog and Digital communication is undertaken by the Mumbai University for its candidates of 4th semester of B.E in computer science. Paper pattern is there are three sections in the questions paper. Total 7 questions are present in the paper out of which only 5 questions are asked to attempt, question number 1 is compulsory and among rest of 6 questions only 4 questions are necessary, each of the questions carry weightage of 20 marks and candidates ask to attempt at least one from each group. Answer to questions should be grouped and written together. All the 7 questions mainly divided in subgroups of 2 or 3. Candidates are allowed to use scientific calculator and scientific table. Paper contain both subjective and objective type question.

Full marks:

The question paper carry maximum of 100 marks and total duration of time for completing the given questions is 3 hours.
