Can a person do M.Tech in mechanical after B.E in Civil? Which courses can I do in M.Tech?


i m anjan.i m doing engg in civil in priyadashini college of engg 2nd year,and i want to m.tech in mechanical engg after completing engg.is this really possible?if yes,what should i do for preparing,and what courses i can do in m.tech?plz help me.it is all about my career.plz answer to me.

As per my knowledge yes, you can pursue M.tech after completing your civil engineering.Here is a list of courses which you can do in M.tech are:-

1. M.Tech in Electrical Engineering(EE)
2. M.Tech in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering(ETC)
3. M.Tech in Electronics & communication Engineering(ECE)
4. M.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering(EEE)
5. M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering(ME)
6. M.Tech in Information Technology(IT)
7. M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering(CSE)
8. M.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering
9. M.Tech in Fire & Safety Engineering(FSE)
10. M.Tech in Civil Engineering(CE)
11. M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering(AE)
12. M.Tech in Mining Engineering
For further information regarding fee structure you can visit univertsities websites as the fees structure differ from university to university and even it is changing in every year.
