hello friend,
As you are interested in your core field why going for other stream like automation which is related with production/automobile/mechanical industries. You can do some courses on networking if you like this subject or go for the JTO exam which can really settle your career as it provides a central govt job . Networking is very interesting field these days and you can do some renowned courses in it which are also not costly that much. All the best! |

dear friend............
you are a B.tech. pass out and searching for concern field , but you are unable to do this. you have tried for telecommunication but in the starting they are asking for the short term course and what they are providing r to costly and not affordable , and when going for it field but you are not satisfied to select that field because you want to continue in your core field only is automation good for an ece candidate. See friend you are in the seance wrong because if you get a good job in the it sector compared to core department , then you must choose the it sector job , if it is not possible for you then you have to work hard and take yourself preparation and give different kind of exam in this section. For this you may go through from different institute for various kind of subjects like.......... 1.Digital Communication 2.Analog Communication 3.VLSI 4.Antena 5.Control System 6.Embedded System 7.Computer Networking --one of the most interesting subject and there are so many option to get job from this subject. Otherwise the rest of the subjects are obviously good. So good luck..... |

as you are an ECE student i will suggest telecommunication field is a very good field. if they ask for other course and you have interest on it then do some courses on networking. it is very use full in telecommunication.
don't choose automation industry as you are a ECE student. if you don't like telecommunication then go to the other core electronics company like BHEL, ISRO, DRDO etc. otherwise try to do m.tech in any core subject of ECE. best of luck. |

You need to select based on your interest. Money is also an important factor but it is not the most important factor. Job satisfaction is what counts. As part of Software Testing you will be into testing various programs. The Networking job profile is more into the hardware side. Both the profiles are different but the scope for both is similar. So you need to decide whether you are interested in software or the hardware side. Also select a firm where you feel there is growth in terms in career and also job satisfaction. Another way in which you can decide is based on which subject you performed well during your studies.

friend,
Both the jobs are good and This can be your turning point in your life if you select the best among them so just think about your career interest and skills and knowledge and then choose the best among them for yourself. In my point of view in software testing you will not be given softwares to develop ,you will check them that they are working correctly or not and is there any need of change in sofware quality. You will debug the errors. And in networking you will be involved in transmission of packets and it can be an interesting job. so just thick about you interests and go for the one which you think is best for you. |
