Re: Is CAT(MBA) useful or should I do MBA in foreign countries?
dear friend,
It depends on you, what you want? See, You can go for MBA course from any of the IIM's in our country.. IIM's are the best for doing MBA course.. For that you have to crack the CAT exam.. You have to perform excellent in CAT exam to take admission in MBA course.. If you get a chance to take admission In IIM's for MBA course then there is no need to go Abroad...After completion of MBA course you can get a huge opportunity to get a good job with a handsome salary.. So, try to do well in CAT exam... All the best. |

Re: Is CAT(MBA) useful or should I do MBA in foreign countries?
I would suggest you to go for CAT. CAT stands for common admission test and provides you admission in IIMs. The best MBA college of India. An MBA post graduate student surely gets a job with a very very good package. If you qualify for the IIMs, you will get a salary much more thant that from a foreingn institute. All The Best |

Re: Is CAT(MBA) useful or should I do MBA in foreign countries?
Unless you can secure admission in some top foreign university for the Master of Business Administration like the Harvard, there is no point of pursing MBA from foreign country.
Common Admission Test is quite useful to get admission for MBA in India. However it does not offer admission in any foreign university. The advantage of CAT over other entrance exams conducted in India is that CAT is accepted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). IIMs are the best business schools in the country. Completing MBA from IIM ensures a secure future. You can get job in top companies across the country and at the same time, various top companies from United States and other parts of the world also select candidates from IIMs. Therefore you can complete MBA from India and have a great future. It is not necessary to complete MBA from foreign university. My advice is that you should appear for the Common Admission Test and clear it. Common Admission Test is conducted every year in October. It is conducted by the IIMs. Each year thanks to a rotation policy, one of 13 IIMs in India is given the responsibility to conduct the Common Admission Test. To appear for the Common Admission Test you must meet some criteria. Eligibility 1. You must have completed graduation. 2. 50 percent marks in graduation are required. 3. SC/ST need 45 percent to appear for CAT. If you are only interested in applying for the foreign universities than appear for GMAT entrance exam which is conducted in India. The GMAT is accepted by various foreign universities. |

I am sorry to say that C.A.T exam will not help you to take admission in M.B.A college of Foreign. If you want to take admission Foreign you have to qualify the G.M.A.T exam. G.M.A.T exam is conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). For G.M.A.T exam you have to score minimum 50% marks in graduation. There is no age limit for this exam.
