Re: Chances in AFMC with 30% Blindness in one eye?
sorry friend...if you have 30 % blindness in one eye..then you cannot join AFMC...even if you qualify the written exa...because after qualification of the written exam...you need to be medically tested...and your eye sight must be correctable upto 6/6

well,if you join AFMC with 30% visibility in one eye,you will face a lot of problem in your coming future as AFMC is meant for the outstanding & physically fit students,So its better to shape your career in some other good field without any remorse as a good decision sometimes becomes a wealth which we are not expecting.

Hello friend,
Iam sorry to say but as far iam concerned you may not be eligible.According to the medical standards required for Armed Forces Medical College exams, there should be no squint or any other morbid condition of the eye. |

Re: Chances in AFMC with 30% Blindness in one eye?
A candidate must be physically fit at the time of joining and must conform to the minimum physical standard as laid down by AFMC. As for Visual Standard students must have at least - 6/6 (±) 2.5 corrected with glass. If they have colour blindness then those candidates are not eligible.
