KCET Exam Pattern:-

• Mathematics- 60 questions- 70 minutes
• Biology- 60 questions- 70 minutes
• Physics- 60 questions- 70 minutes
• Chemistry- 60 questions- 70 minutes
• Kannada- 50 questions- 70 minutes

The Weightage distribution has been done by keeping in mind the number of questions that have been asked from the following chapters in the last five years:-

• Genetics-Molecular Basis of Inheritance- Avg 7% questions
• Plant Morpho- Avg 4% questions
• Animal Reproduction and Development- Avg 4% questions
• Cell- Avg 3% questions
• Photosynthesis- Avg 3% questions
• Genetics- Avg 3% questions
• Systematics- Avg 2% questions
• Chemical Coordination- Avg 2% questions
• Reproduction in Higher Plants- Avg 2% questions
• Animal Tissues- Avg 1% questions
• Mineral Nutrients- Avg 0.1% questions
• Cell Respiration- Avg 4% questions
• Plant Water Relations- Avg 4% questions
• Animal Nutrition- Avg 3% questions

Bulk of the questions are asked from the chapters mentioned above. So you should not skip them at any cost.
