@mdrsmukesh
There is no such chapter-wise weightage of marks kind of a thing in IIT JEE examination. The core of your 11th and 12th class study is asked in IIT JEE exams. So forget about chapter-wise weightage and start preparing each single chapter of a subject. Best of luck! |

Re: Chapter-wise weightage of marks in IIT JEE for Physics, chemistry and mathematics
MATHS:
CO-ORDINATE:- straight line,circle,locus. ALGEBRA:- complex no.,qudratic equation,probability,a.p.,g.p. CACULUS:-LIMIT,CONTINUTY,integration,application of calculus. trignometry all are important(carries near about -5marks each yaer) PHYSICS: mechanics,kinematics,vectors,gravitation,atomic physics.electronics. CHEMISTRY:- bonding,organic chemistry,metals.however tough questions are from physical part. ABOVE MENTIONED ARE THOSE PARTS WHICH CARRY MUCH WEIGHTAGE IN IIT-JEE. you can able to score more then 150 just preparing this nicely. |

Re: Chapter-wise weightage of marks in IIT JEE for Physics, chemistry and mathematics
there is no chapter wise weight age in iitjee,
the questions can come from any chapter and most of the questions combine knowledge two to three topics to solve them |

for maths coordinate geometry and calculus have the highest weightage....even if you do not study other units then no problem.........in chem organic has the highest and then physical....and in phy optics and mechanics and then electrostatics

if you are prepared for I I T .. than i think that you should not think about the weight age of chapters... because knowledge in every chapter is necessary for I I T exam.. so good luck. |

Re: Chapter-wise weightage of marks in IIT JEE for Physics, chemistry and mathematics
hi friend,
In IIT- JEE, its not difficult for you if you are thorough with +2 concepts. I feel that there will not be a fixed weightage. As far as my knowledge is concerned, in chemistry, for the organic part much importance is given and in physics light and kinematics |
